The Fujifilm X-S20 mirrorless camera features the X-Processor 5 and the back-illuminated X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor, providing unprecedented power and achieving astonishing image-making and video recording capabilities. With its incredible 26.1MP resolution, the X-S20 uses a unique filter array that controls moiré and false colours without relying on an optical low-pass filter. Film Simulations

Utilising 85+ years of expertise in colour science, the Fujifilm X-S20 features multiple Film Simulation modes. Each Film Simulation offers specially formulated depth, saturation, and tonality that requires little to no postproduction adjustment — providing greater creative freedom, achieving a unique feel and style to images and videos tailored to their preferences. Improved Battery Life

Offering a battery life that is two times that of its predecessor, the X-S20 will keep you shooting for up to 750 frames (compared to the 325 frames achieved by the previous iteration of the X-S10). Or, if you need a camera that will last all day, switch the X-S20 into economy mode and it will increase the battery life to 800 frames.

High-Performance Autofocus

The X-S20 utilises the X-Processor 5’s unparalleled power to achieve high-speed and incredibly precise autofocus, including subject-detection which uses deep-learning AI technology to provide accurate and reliable tracking and detection of human faces and eyes. But it’s not just humans this technology can track — the X-S20 will recognise and track a broad array of subjects, from animals and birds to cars, bikes, motorbikes, and trains; allowing you to concentrate more on what you’re shooting and worry less about whether the results will be in focus.

When it comes to focusing on fast-moving subjects, the X-S20’s updated AF algorithm ensures continuously moving subjects always remain in focus, meaning you can capture stunning images and videos regardless of how fast your subject is moving. This improved AF algorithm is most noticeable in Zone AF mode and in scenes with low contrast.

Auto Subject Detection

The X-S20’s new Auto mode automatically recognises/sets the optimal setting for the scene you are shooting in. When this mode is selected, the X-S20 automatically detects the subjects, tracking it and keeping it in focus, and removing the need to make manual adjustments to the subject detection settings.

Does Away with Image Blur

The X-S20’s five-axis in-body image stabilisation (IBIS) makes this camera the perfect choice for handheld photography and videography, offering up to 7.0 stops of image stabilisation to combat the effects of camera shake — doing away with image blur and ensuring images and videos remain in crisp and sharp, with every detail replicated in true-to-life quality.

Impeccable Video Quality

Advanced video recording capabilities enable movie making in 6.2K internally at 30P in 4:2:2 10-bit color, 4K/60P video, and 1080/240P high-speed video — placing more creative control in your hands and allowing you to produce high-quality videos that even Hollywood would be proud of.

Fujifilm XApp Support

The X-S20 is compatible with the Fujifilm XApp, an intuitive free app that allows you to wirelessly transfer and view images taken in-camera on a connected smartphone/tablet, and even allows for remote control of the camera — perfect for hands-free image-making.
