Powerful Thermal Optics

The Guide TrackIR 25 thermal imaging monocular features a 400 x 300 17µm <50mK NETD thermal sensor, combined with a powerful 25mm f1.2 objective lens to provide crisp thermal imagery at distances of up to 700m for a standard 1.8m tall human or deer shaped object, and 1700m for a 2.3m x 2.3m vehicle — and the TrackIR 25’s 50Hz frame rate ensures this thermal imagery remains smooth and fluid, even whilst observed objects are in motion, with a sharp image presented onto a 1280 x 960 LCOS HD display.

Description

For an even greater observation experience, this thermal imaging monocular offers a base magnification of 1x-4x, with a digital zoom of 1.7x-6.8x, and a generous 15.4° x 11.6° field of view to open up the observation area even further.

Enhanced Observation Window

Enhanced observation can be achieved through the TrackIR 25’s ability to offer a magnified image within the top 10% of the viewfinder, allowing for greater inspection of a subject within the observation area whilst maintaining full control over the field of view.

5 Hours of Battery Life

Offers up to 5 hours of continuous use through x2 built-in 18650 batteries, providing plenty of observation time before a recharge is needed. Battery life is dependant on environmental temperature.

Lightweight and Durable

The TrackIR 25 may be lightweight at just 470g, but it remains robust and durable. Drop tested at 1m, with an IP66 rating, this device is shock resistant, can take a knock and a scrape, and is even water resistant. It can even operate in extreme temperatures, with performance remaining unaffected at -10°C to 50°C.

Built-In Video Recorder

Capture still images and video with audio, recorded straight to the device’s 16GB internal storage, or accessible through the free Guide app. This app can also be used to live-view through the TrackIR 25’s lens, allowing a connected smartphone or tablet to be used effectively as a second screen.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Taking Thermal & Night Vision Outside of the UK.

Thermal imaging and night vision products are strictly controlled by ITAR regulations and are subject to UK Government Export Licensing Regulations. Dependent on specification, a licence may need to be obtained prior to the export, even temporarily (e.g. holiday), from the UK.

Additionally, some countries may be embargoed, and no thermal imagers or night vision devices can be taken or exported to them. It is the responsibility of the exporter, whether it be a company or individual, to ensure that such a licence is obtained.

Failure to comply is a criminal offence.
