Description

Highly Sensitive Thermal Sensor

The Axion XM30F incorporates a highly sensitive 320×240, 12µm, <50mK NETD thermal sensor which, in combination with the 50Hz refresh rate, will provide the user with a crisp and smooth thermal image, and boasts a detection range of up to 1300m of a standard 1.8m object in total darkness – even in difficult conditions such as fog, rain, and high levels of humidity.

Exceptional Optics

Features a powerful, focusable 28mm F1.2 objective lens, which works in combination with the thermal sensor to provide these impressive detection capabilities.

To ensure a comfortable viewing experience, the base magnification increases by four times at 2x-8x, with a zoom which can change either gradually by 2x steps, or continuously – allowing the user to set the ideal magnification ratio and visible field of view to suit any situation. Couple this with the 7.8°x5.9° field of view, and this device can offer exceptional control over the observation area.

AMOLED Display

All of this is presented on the Axion XM30F’s frost-resistant, high contrast 640×400 AMOLED display, which provides improved colour rendering for a significantly sharper and much smoother image, even in adverse weather conditions.

Eight Colour Palettes

The Axion XM30F also offers 8 colour palettes, so the user can observe their field of view more effectively, optimising the Axion XM30F for specific tasks, and reacting to changing conditions in the observation area.

White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are the perfect choice for object detection; Rainbow and Ultramarine are great for recognition and identification; and Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet are ideal for night-time observation.

Up to 5 Hours of Battery Life

The quick-change APS3 rechargeable battery will provide the Axion XM30F with up to 5 hours of battery life (depending on temperature). Removing and replacing the battery can be achieved quickly and easily, and charging is as simple as connecting to a PC, household power system, or power bank via USB. A dedicated APS battery charger is also available (not included).

Instant Start-Up and Display Off Mode

The Axion XM30F features “Display Off” mode, which deactivates image transmission to the AMOLED display by taking the brightness down to its minimum level – entering standby mode without powering the device down.

When the device is in “Display Off” mode, switching it back on is quick and easy using the Instant Start Up feature. This can be achieved with a single short press of the power button, and allows the user to get back up and running in just 3 seconds!

Magnesium Alloy Bodyshell

The rugged magnesium alloy housing has been designed with constant, hard use in mind; meaning the Axion XM30F is both lightweight and robust in equal measure.

Reliably protecting the internal components from shocks, scrapes, cold, heat, and moisture, the magnesium alloy housing will also act as a heat sink, dissipating heat generated by the inner electronics, minimising noise, and increasing operational consistency during long-term observation.

Operating Temperatures

This thermal imaging monocular has been designed for use within a wide range of temperatures, operating reliably and effectively in extreme temperatures from -25 to +50°C.

IPX7 Waterproof Rated

The IPX7 waterproof rating provides protection against tough conditions, including heavy rain, fog, high humidity, and snow. The IPX7 rating means this device is even submersible in 1m of water for up to 30 minutes.

Built-In Video & Still Image Recorder

Capture once-in-a-lifetime moments with built-in video and still image recording capabilities. The Axion XM30F’s 16GB internal memory can store hours of videos and tens of thousands of still images at just the touch of a button. All footage can be easily copied onto a computer using a USB-C cable; or, with the built-in Wi-Fi module and Stream Vision 2 connectivity, the user can easily view and share memorable moments, straight from the cloud.

Integrated Wi-Fi Module

The built-in Wi-Fi module with dual band Wi-Fi (2.4/5GHz), vastly improves bandwidth and connection stability, as well as providing a faster rate of data transfer and noise immunity – all for a more reliable and consistent operation between the device and a smartphone or tablet.

Stream Vision 2

This built-in Wi-Fi module enables quick connection to Android or iOS smartphones or tablets using the Stream Vision 2 app, offering a wide range of connectivity features, including:

The ability to use a mobile phone as a wireless remote to control and adjust the device’s settings. View all the changes made on a smartphone or tablet screen in real-time. This feature also allows for remote recording of footage or capture of still images.

A gallery of photos and videos captured on the Axion XM30F that can be browsed through and downloaded. These videos and images can also be shared easily.

The ability to remotely update the device’s firmware, meaning users can enjoy all the latest features and ensure their Axion XM30F is always running to the best of its ability.

16GB Storage

Offers 16GB of built-in storage, meaning images and videos captured on the device can be stored either on the device’s internal memory, or, alternatively, on the 16GB of FREE cloud storage offered on the Stream Vision 2 app. Photos and videos can also be downloaded to a laptop or PC via simple connection of a Micro USB cord.
