The Nanuk name is derived from the ituit “Nanook”, meaning polar bear, taking inspiration from its namesake to provide strength and durability across the entire product range.
These cases are manufactured in Canada, with challenging and unforgiving conditions at the forefront of the design process, resulting in products that, like the polar bear, can withstand anything the environment can throw at it.

Polyurethane Wheels
Polycarbonate wheels moulded with polyurethane can be found on all Nanuk wheeled and long cases. Similar to the wheel found on roller blades, these wheels will ensure a smooth, quiet, and easy glide, regardless of any rough terrain or challenging weather conditions.
2-Stage Handle
Select models feature a two-stage retractable soft-grip handle, designed to make sure the case is comfortable to transport regardless of the height of the user. A simple press of a button allows users to switch between half- and full-extension with just one hand.
How the PowerClaw System Works:
The PowerClaw system ensures your case stays tightly shut at all times and avoids any accidental opening during transportation that could occur with more traditional latches.
The PowerClaw system can remain silent when fastening, making it perfect in moments where making a sound would be unwanted or ill-advised.
Stainless steel locking points are included to add an extra level of security for those who wish to padlock their case in transit.
Endless Customisation
Each Nanuk case has been designed with customisation in mind, so users can use their case for several different applications. Adding an even greater level of protection, all Nanuk cases are available with or without foam inserts, padded dividers, or lid organisers.
An integrated bezel removes the need to buy any additional hardware, and allows the panels to be mounted directly into the case.
For those who wish to buy without the inserts, these will still be available as additional accessories.
