Description
Exceptional Thermal Performance, Designed for Ecology
The Arc A604 Pro’s 640×512, 12µm thermal sensor with <18mK NETD thermal sensitivity will reveal the smallest heat source at a range of up to 200m — even in challenging weather conditions.
A unique 4 mm f1.0 objective lens provides an industry-first ultra-wide 102° field of view. Currently the widest on the market, the Arc A604 Pro’s FOV makes this monocular perfect for a wide range of ecological applications. With a wider visible area than ever before, more data can be captured and fast-moving animals are now easier to detect and follow. This makes the Arc A604 Pro ideal for bat surveys, wide habitat observation, or analysing animal group behaviour.
Also boasting the shortest close focus distance on the market, the Arc A604 Pro is also perfect for close-up work, including interior surveys, insect and invertebrate examination, non-invasive observation of smaller mammals, and investigating fine-scale heat patterns that other thermal monoculars with close focus distances in the metre range, rather than millimetre, would fail to achieve.
Built-in Video Recorder
Two more essential features for ecologists — the Arc A604 Pro features a built-in video recorder and the ability to mount the monocular to a tripod. Mount the Arc A604 Pro to your tripod, press record, and leave the device running for the duration of your survey. Video is recorded continuously and also records sound, saving video files to the device’s 32GB internal storage in 30-minute clips for you to inspect at a later date. The Arc A604 Pro also supports still image capture.
6-Hour Battery Life
The Arc A604 Pro comes supplied with two rechargeable, replaceable batteries, each providing up to 6 hours of operating time. With a spare battery ready to go when you need it, you can continue observing long into the night with minimal interruption.
Share the View: Perfect for Group Observations
The Arc A604 Pro makes group observations simple, allowing up to four smartphones or tablets to connect to the device using the free Pixfra app.
Once connected, the monocular’s live view can be shared with as many as four people within a 20m range. If one member of the group discovers an animal or other point of interest, everyone connected can see the action simultaneously on their own screen, rather than taking turns looking through the viewfinder.
The Pixfra app is completely FREE to download on both Android and iOS devices.
Comfortable Design
Built with comfort, practicality and durability in mind, the Arc A604 Pro combines an ergonomic body with conveniently positioned controls. This makes the monocular straightforward to operate while remaining comfortable to hold throughout longer observation sessions.
At just 380g, it is exceptionally lightweight, helping to minimise hand fatigue during extended use. Its compact, low-weight design also makes it easy to carry in a pocket or pack when you’re on the move.
A tough magnesium alloy housing provides added protection against the knocks and scrapes that come with regular field use. An IP67 waterproof rating offers further reassurance in wet conditions, protecting the device against water ingress when the weather takes a turn.
For observations in more demanding environments, the Arc A604 Pro is also engineered to perform in temperatures ranging from –30°C to +55°C, making it a dependable companion in everything from bitter winter conditions to intense heat.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Taking Thermal & Night Vision Outside of the UK.
Thermal imaging and night vision products are strictly controlled by ITAR regulations and are subject to UK Government Export Licensing Regulations. Dependent on specification, a licence may need to be obtained prior to the export, even temporarily (e.g. holiday), from the UK.
Additionally, some countries may be embargoed, and no thermal imagers or night vision devices can be taken or exported to them. It is the responsibility of the exporter, whether it be a company or individual, to ensure that such a licence is obtained.
Failure to comply is a criminal offence.
