An exciting new brand has arrived at Thomas Jacks. We’re pleased to announce we are now the exclusive UK & ROI distributor of Pixfra — manufacturers of high-performance thermal imaging devices with a vision of making professional-grade thermal more accessible to all, offering performance without the price tag.
Pixfra’s intuitive range of products includes the mid-level Mile series and the top-of-the-range Ranger series thermal imaging monoculars. Each device features an extremely sensitive thermal sensor and a powerful objective lens in order to achieve excellent detection ranges, easily spotting even the smallest heat signature by day and in complete darkness.
The Mile series is Pixfra’s range of entry-level thermal imaging devices, consisting of eight powerful thermal imaging monoculars — each available with a different sensor to achieve varying detection capabilities. Ergonomically designed, each device remains comfortable in the hand over extended periods of observation, and their IP67 protection rating ensures they will withstand harsh weather conditions including heavy rain and dense fog.
The Mile has been designed to last, offering low power consumption and a long-life battery that achieves an operation time of up to 9 hours, enabling reliable prolonged observation. The Mile can even be charged with an external mobile power supply, keeping you operational when access to a mains power supply is not achievable.
The Mile features a range of digital and connectivity functionalities designed to enhance the viewing experience even further, including built-in still image capture and video recording with audio, an intuitive stadiametric rangefinder, fire detection, Pixfra app connectivity, and the ability to expand storage capabilities to up to 256GB.

The Mile series includes: Mile M60-B25, Mile M60-B18, Mile M40-B25, Mile M40-B19, Mile M40-B13, Mile M20-B15, Mile M20-B10, and Mile M20-B7. See below to compare each model’s specification before deciding which to go for.
The Ranger series is Pixfra’s top-of-the-range offering, consisting of five high-performance thermal imaging monoculars, the Ranger series offers two highly sensitive thermal sensor options and three powerful objective lens options, providing professional-grade thermal imaging capabilities and outstanding detection ranges of up to 2600m. The Ranger’s built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery will reliably offer an operation time of up to 7.5 hours (depending on temperature) for extended periods of effective observation before a recharge is needed. Automatic standby mode will preserve the device’s power when left unused for a set period of time.
An extremely sensitive professional grade thermal sensor can be found in each of the Ranger series monoculars, each achieving excellent detection ranges and outstanding identification capabilities — even in harsh weather conditions, including heavy rain and dense fog, so observations remain unaffected regardless of what mother nature has to offer.
Featuring a high-res OLED display, each device presents a crystal-clear image with high levels of contrast and vivid colours. This 1440×1080 display achieves an image that is 2x clearer than a conventional 1024×768 display, providing twice as much detail, enabling greater detection capabilities, and making identification of an animal’s anatomical features much easier out in the field.
